Bound in Mortal Kombat

Not quite as dire as the head title might suggest, I'll begin here...

It's been fairly well documented that I have had a poorly leg and, long story short, it's been playing up again which has ultimately led to more time off work. Today was Mortal Kombat day!!!

This was a rather pathetic attempt to reclaim my youth in a very bloodthirsty and violent way...It worked quite well and this is why...(without using the cliche of bulletpoints)

I began my MK journey as Scorpion, the demonic spectre from HELL! After defeating the Shaolin monk, Kung Lao I progressed to kicking Sheevas' arse and pounding mutant Baraka into the muddy ground.

"HAHAHAHA!" I shouted, with the blood of the fallen kombatants pooring down my arms and legs, "I AM UNDEFEATED!!!!"

I was then defeated by Sub-Zero, who gave me an icepick lobotomy before freezing my arms and smashing them into pieces over a phonebox. I then became Liu Kang, a zombie (don't know how that happened!) I killed everyone in an insatiable rage and the game ended. Phew!!!

Do you remember Dizzy the egg? Of treehouse origin and prince of the yolkfolk? No?!!! Wow! Well, in another desperate attempt at clutching at my childhood I loaded up a game called Magicland Dizzy...It's a smashing game and highly addictive. Dizzy was first seen on the Spectrum type game system from the 80's and many different Dizzy games were released on many platforms for around a decade and ended with Fantastic Dizzy, which even managed to get a hit on the hugely popular Sega Mega Drive, Home to Sonic the Hedgehog!!! Interesting, eh?

Just download a dizzy game (Treasure Island Dizzy is free from Codemasters) and get addicted, just like I did many, many years ago!!!

Rrrrubbish!

Well no black eye at the weekend, primarily because there was no-one at this So-called festival to beat anyone up!!! The Festival was on over 4 nights, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. I went on the last 2 nights so I guess all the fun had been had! I saw one band who were, actually pretty good...I remember singing along to '39 by Queen and Johnny B Goode by Chuck Berry. I suppose I was expecting it to be rather disappionting, as I have documented in my last written blog so I'm not REALLY surprised!!!

I have made a video of the Monday night which I have to edit and upload onto Blogger (not Youtube though cos it's crap) as soon as I can be arsed! I do have plenty of time to do this little task cos I'm off work again for a short time, whilst the new infection in my leg clears up!!!

YELLOW PUSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Speak soon!!!!
